The set is compatible with most vacuums featuring 2-1/4” ID, 2-1/2” ID, or 1-1/2” OD ports, as well as power tools with 1” OD dust extraction ports. The included adapters and fittings ensure secure connections, making installation simple and efficient. Additionally, the POWERTEC Dust Collection Fitting is a versatile quick-connect adapter designed to fit most 2-1/4” ID vacuum ports, 2-1/2” ports, PVC pipes, and ID dust collection hoses. The tapered design allows for a secure fit, while the threaded end connects seamlessly to 1-1/2” ID hoses with left-hand internal threads, providing a reliable connection without air leaks.

• PLEASE NOTE: This hose set is designed to provide dust collection for tools with 1” OD and 1-1/2” OD dust ports that connect to a dust collector with a 2-1/4” ID or 2-1/2” ID port. The hose features screw on adapters that can be changed to fit the required size. Two reducers are provided, 2-1/4”OD and 2-1/2” OD, to fit either size dust collecting system.
• INCLUDES: (ONE) 2-1/4" to 2-1/2" ABS dust port/hose adapter reducer, which connects to 1-1/2” ID hose using left hand internal threads
• PLEASE NOTE: The hose is designed to be small and flexible to help provide greater ease in sanding, planing, or other handheld power tool applications. The smaller diameter hose, good for this application, may not work for general vacuuming. If you plan to repurpose the kit, please refer to the detailed images to verify that the size and configuration fits your application or expectations
• APPLICATION: The 2-1/2” to 2-1/4" tapered end fits most shop vac ports with a nominal ID of 2-1/4”. It will also fit 2-1/2” ports, 2-1/2” PVC pipes and 2-1/2” ID dust collection hoses. The threaded end connects to 1-1/2” ID hose with left hand internal threads.
